Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4pm
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate Degree in PT.
• NY State PT license.
• 6+ months PT experience (New Grads welcome to apply).
• Passion working with patients with developmental disabilities or similar.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop tailored clinical programs for students based on their Individual Education Plans (IEP) through individual or group sessions.
• Provide training and ongoing support to classroom staff.
• Collaborate with team members to assess and create specialized feeding programs to improve oral motor skills.
• Works with parents to establish home programs that support therapy goals and coordinates individual goals with the interdisciplinary team.
• Designs adaptive equipment and ensures compliance with documentation standards while understanding the psychological and medical needs of the student population.
