Diesel Mechanic
$25-$35 per hour plus benefits
Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
We are a reputable heavy duty diesel truck dealership in Buffalo, NY. We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with experience in general repairs, warranty repairs, emissions, transmission, and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
• Perform general repairs and maintenance on commercial trucks, including but not limited to engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently and accurately.
• Conduct warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform emissions testing and repairs as required.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding repair status and recommendations.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic.
• Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines and related systems.
• Experience with warranty repairs preferred.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing emissions, transmission, and electrical issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
