We are excited to announce that we are looking for a *Full-Time Patient
Registrar* at Albany Gastroenterology Consultants of Albany New York
The*Patient Registrar* Responsibilities are*:* Meeting and registering patients
• Entering all demographic and insurance information
• Obtaining authorizations to ensure paymentreferrals
• Verifying insurance eligibility for all patients
• Collecting co-pays, deductibles and past due balances
• Creating payment plans for patients
• Private pay collection follow-up
• Maintain professional and courteous demeanor at all times with patients, physicians and co-workers
• Adhere to and support all policies and procedures of Albany Gastroenterology Consultants
• Other responsibilities as assigned
The*Patient Registrar* must have the following qualifications and
experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to learn and adapt.
• Ability to maintain working relationships with physicians and co-workers.
• Position requires a flexible work schedule.
