Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Job Specialty: Respiratory Therapist - NICU Level 2 or Greater Experience
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour Night Shift
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of NICU Level 2 or greater experience; preceptor experience is ideal
License: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required
Must-Have: Must live 100 miles away
• Administer respiratory care as prescribed by physicians.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations, including obtaining and analyzing physiological specimens and interpreting physiologic data.
• Perform tests and studies of the cardiopulmonary system.
• Manage, educate, and rehabilitate patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities.
• Apply technology and treatment protocols across all care sites.
• Monitor the application of medical gases and environmental control systems.
• Provide mechanical ventilatory support and artificial airway care.
• Ensure bronchopulmonary hygiene and administer pharmacological agents related to respiratory care procedures.
• Support cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and hemodynamic cardiovascular care.
