As an in-office entry level position, the Litigation Scheduler is a key member of the Litigation Team at Bighorn Law.
They are entrusted with calendaring deadlines for all court dockets, for our Litigation Attorneys.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, organized, task-results driven, able to multi-task, yield a high level of accuracy and adapt to the needs of a high performing law office.
Responsibilities:
• Be willing to take on any other necessary administrative tasks to help the firm run smoothly • Schedule meetings and appointments for the team, such as depositions, make travel arrangements, and coordinate with outside vendors for events • Take care of administrative tasks and office correspondence by answering phone calls and emails, communicating with opposing attorney offices, taking dictation, and informing the team of upcoming deadlines • Properly naming and uploading documents to our case management system • Assist with any other duties associated with being the primary scheduling coordinator or ad hoc duties as requested by supervisor Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate's degree is a plus • Ability to comfortably use all Microsoft Office products • Must be able to prioritize tasks with demanding deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment • Experience with legal software, litigation case management, and docketing programs Compensation:
$16 - $18 hourly
• Properly naming and uploading documents to our case management system • Assist with any other duties associated with being the primary scheduling coordinator or ad hoc duties as requested by supervisor
