Job Title: Locum Tenens Pediatric Physician
Job Specialty: Pediatrics
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day - 5x8 - 9am - 5pm
Guaranteed Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum years of experience required
License: Active physician license
Certifications: Board certification eligible, PALS required, other certifications preferred
Must-Have: Pediatrics experience, ability to handle various pediatric procedures and sedation, familiarity with pediatric ventilation management
• Looking for 1 or 2 providers to cover 7 to 10 days of call each month starting January 2025
• Patient encounters per shift: 2-3
• Flexible dates available, can work around provider availability
• Travel and lodging recommendations provided
• Facility does not require physicians to be board certified
• Training and orientation hours: 150
• Specialty skills in various pediatric procedures and sedation preferred
• Trauma Level 0 facility in need of coverage in the Pediatrics department
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30 days
• Start date: 01/10/2025 with ongoing availability
• Nearest airport: Elko Regional Airport
• Beds in department: 25 Med Surge, 7 ICU
• Patient per shift: 2-3
• Fellowship: 2 years
