The Apprentice Specialist Closed Loop role is designed for individuals new to customer retention and account management, providing a structured learning environment to build core competencies.
In this role, apprentices work closely with team leads and mentors to develop expertise in resolving customer concerns, conducting account health checks, and managing proactive support efforts.
With a strong emphasis on skill-building, apprentices focus on understanding customer needs, practicing effective communication, and gaining familiarity with T-Mobile systems and processes.
Job Responsibilities:

• Provide foundational customer service through basic issue resolution, guided by established policies and procedures.
  
• Conduct simple account reviews and assist in recommending basic retention strategies under supervision.
  
• Participate actively in training programs, on-the-job coaching, and mentorship sessions.
  
• Leverage documentation and training tools to gain proficiency in internal systems and customer support workflows.
  
• Adapt to evolving priorities and demonstrate flexibility in learning new processes.
  Education:
  
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)Work Experience:
    No prior experience required; call center or customer service experience is a plus.
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    
    • Strong willingness to learn and adapt.
      
    • Effective communication skills with a focus on courtesy and empathy.
      
    • Basic computer literacy (keyboarding, navigating systems, and documentation).

          The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
          At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role.
          Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
          Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
