Since 1938, South Jersey Radiology Associates (SJRA) has been the region's premier, physician led medical imaging provider in South Jersey.
Our highly-experienced team of 58 board-certified, subspecialized radiologists - including body imagers, interventional radiologists, musculoskeletal imagers, nuclear medicine radiologists, and women's imagers - interpret all radiology studies, from standard X-rays to the most complex procedures, across 16 clinical locations.
SJRA is recognized as the region's first Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence and Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center by the American College of Radiology.

Summary:
Performs PET and CT procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease and injuries by performing the essential duties of the position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares and positions patient for diagnostic imaging procedures.
Adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by physician.
Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
Moves imaging equipment into specified position, determines exposure factors on basis of height, weight, portion of body involved, and degree of penetration required, and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce images of proper detail, density, and accuracy.
Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.
Performs specialized PET and CT procedures
Processes images and reviews for proper identification and quality control.
Prepares images for reading by radiologist or requesting physician.
Communicates with the manager regarding maintenance, malfunctions, and minor repairs needed on equipment.
Completes forms and maintains records, logs, and reports of work performed.
Works effectively with co-workers, supervisors, patients, physicians and other external contacts.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Associate's degree (A.
A.) or equivalent from two-year accredited College or technical school
CNMT and CT Technologist licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services
Current registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with certification in Radiography.
Current CPR certification.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
