Position Title: Food & Beverage Cashier

Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager, Supervisor

Supervises: N/A

Summary of Position

Cashier is able to maintain an organized system of cash handling, credit card payments and all required POS, as well as, opening and closing procedures. Cashier is also responsible for knowing and performing all position related daily checklists. Cashier will provide prompt, friendly, courteous and professional service to customers and other Team Members. Will perform cleaning duties as required by manager. Maintain a clean and organized Cashier Station.

  1. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are subject to change at management's discretion:
  • Responsible for all daily transactions at POS terminal Must have good Hospitality skills to work with Customers
  • Verifies currency of$20. 00 and higher for authenticity.
  • Ensures completion of all required forms.
  • Verifies funds transferred to and from the bank.
  • Adheres to all regulatory, departmental and casino policies and procedures and to the casino Internal Control Structure.
  • When not needed to be actively running a register, may need to secure your register and assist in
  • Cleaning or other duties, as requested by your supervisor.
  • Obtains and maintains Alcohol Server Certification.

  1. Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED); experience preferred but will train. Proficient Mathematics skills. One year experience as cashier with POS system preferred.

While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear. Must be able to use hand held communications devices. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The team member must be able to stand for several hours.
