Certification Details BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
BLS and ACLS must be completed through the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
EPIC EMR experience preferred.
Job Details Cardiac Progressive Care RN 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS
2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit required.
Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
Job Requirements Must have an active NM or compact license.
At least two references required, one must be from current manager.
A resume and completed skills checklist/competency assessment must be presented.
Traveler must provide proof of a current Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) or Dysrhythmia exam or be tested during the first week of assignment.
Schedule Information 12-hour Night shift position - start time 19:00
Shift length may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
On call, weekends, and holidays are required.
Travelers are first to float within facility and to other locations within 20 miles.
Unit Specific Information The position is in a telemetry/progressive care unit with more than 18 beds.
Orientation includes EPIC training.
Additional Details NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS
Candidates must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from the last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
