Position Title: Academy Trainer
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87107
Duration: 1 year
Work Schedule: 24 40 hrs available. Flexible days available Monday Friday. Hours between 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
Pay rate: $22
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Works alongside Curriculum Designers to proof lesson plans, briefing video scripts, supplemental instructional materials, and policies to correct grammatical, typographical, or compositional errors.
Applies rules of grammar and composition to existing lesson plans and newly created instructional materials.
Checks references for accuracy and adds missing references to instructional materials as needed.
Helps ensure that all written instructional documents are formatted according to the Comprehensive Training Unit's standards.
Helps to draft training content for existing materials as needed.
Additioinal Requirements:
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Capacity to work in a team environment
Ability to multitask, balancing multiple high priority projects simultaneously
Strong project management skills
Strong analytical skills
Strong organizational skills
Attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines
Flexibility and willingness to learn new processes
Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License or the ability to obtain by date of hire
To be considered for this position, you should have:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
And two (2) years of work experience in education, or curriculum design and development, or have teaching credentials at the high school level.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
