Join Allied Digestive Health! We are looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner to become a vital member of our team at Teaneck Gastroenterology in beautiful Bergen County, NJ.
This role encompasses both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities, making it an exciting opportunity for those with a passion for gastroenterology.
About the Role:
The Nurse Practitioner is a licensed independent practitioner who plays a critical role in managing health issues and coordinating care for patients, adhering to all State and Federal regulations. You will be expected to deliver the highest standards of care, involving assessment of health status, diagnosing conditions, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes. Collaboration with the healthcare team is essential to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize your knowledge of medical and drug information to examine and treat gastroenterology patients effectively.
Maintain current provider certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Obtain and maintain necessary hospital privileges.
Demonstrate strong multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
Perform all duties accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure in NY in good standing
Current DEA certificate, NJ License, and CDS
