Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Technical Architect to join our team, with sponsorship for a new H1B visa. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions on AWS. This role requires deep expertise in AWS architecture and services, and the ability to lead complex cloud projects. Candidates seeking H1B sponsorship are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• AWS Cloud Architecture:
  Design and implement cloud solutions on AWS, including compute, storage, networking, and security architectures.
• Cloud Migration:
  Lead migration of on-premises applications and infrastructure to AWS, ensuring seamless transition with minimal downtime.
• Security and Compliance:
  Implement best practices for security, governance, and compliance on AWS, ensuring all cloud solutions meet industry regulations and organizational security policies.
• DevOps and Automation:
  Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CLI.
• Cloud Strategy and Roadmap:
  Develop cloud strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives, and provide technical leadership on AWS cloud technologies.
• Cost Optimization:
  Develop cost-efficient cloud solutions and optimize cloud resource utilization to minimize costs while maintaining performance and scalability.
• Collaboration:
  Work with development, operations, and business teams to ensure that AWS solutions meet both technical and business requirements.
• Performance Tuning:
  Optimize the performance of AWS cloud infrastructure, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
• Documentation:
  Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architectures, best practices, and configurations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Extensive AWS Experience:
  Proven track record in designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud architectures, with experience in services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and CloudFront.
• AWS Architecture Expertise:
  Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles, including fault tolerance, high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability on AWS.
• Cloud Migration Experience:
  Experience leading cloud migration projects, specifically migrating from on-premises environments to AWS.
• Security and Compliance:
  Strong knowledge of AWS security best practices, including IAM, encryption, VPC security, and compliance frameworks like GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC.
• Automation Expertise:
  Proficiency in automation tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or Chef for deploying infrastructure as code.
• DevOps and CI/CD:
  Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
• Networking Knowledge:
  Expertise in AWS networking services like VPC, VPN, Direct Connect, Route 53, and Load Balancers.
• Cost Management:
  Experience with AWS cost management tools to optimize spending and ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Communication Skills:
  Strong ability to communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Preferred Certifications:
  
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional or Associate)
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• AWS Certified Security Specialty

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, and Kubernetes (EKS or ECS).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
