Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of the Executive Director Clinical Diagnostic Services is to be responsible for the overall operations of the Radiology, Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Pain Management and Neurodiagnostic testing, and treatment services offered by University Hospital.
The Executive Director develops and monitors the implementation of strategic and business plans that will address the needs of patients within the services including the steps necessary to expand the market share position.
Responsible for gathering support for the initiatives of these services through relationships with other departments within the hospital and medical school and with the medical staff.
The Executive Director is accountable for the coordination of quality and performance improvement initiatives leading to better patient outcomes and satisfaction.
A Masters Degree in Administration, Business, Science, or a related field is required.
Seven (7) years of experience in an academic or clinical setting, including at least three (3) years at the managerial level.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Prior experience working in a unionized environment preferred.
