The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in web development, with a proven ability to lead a team of developers.
This role involves client-facing responsibilities, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently on complex projects.Additional Information
• The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.
In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within New Jersey is $110k-$120k/year & benefits (see below).The RoleResponsibilities:
Web Development:
Design, develop, and maintain dynamic web applications using Angular 13/14, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness across various devices.JavaScript & HTML5:
Write clean, maintainable code using JavaScript and HTML5, adhering to best practices and industry standards.Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 developers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure successful project delivery.Client Engagement:
Interact with clients to gather requirements, provide project updates, and address any technical issues, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.Independent Work:
Take ownership of projects and tasks, demonstrating the ability to work independently and make technical decisions that align with project goals.Code Review:
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, and provide constructive feedback to team members.Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of development processes, architectural decisions, and project specifications.Collaboration:
Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create user-friendly and visually appealing applications.Problem-Solving:
Identify and troubleshoot issues, implementing effective solutions to enhance application performance and user experienceRequirements:
You are:
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on Angular (versions 13/14).Technical Skills:
Proficient in Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, and HTML5/CSS3.Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating with back-end services.Experience with version control systems such as Git.Leadership Skills:
Demonstrated experience in managing a small team, fostering collaboration, and ensuring effective project delivery.Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly.Self-Motivated:
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.It would be great if you also had:
Experience in Agile development methodologies.Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Java) is a plus.Relevant certifications in Angular or front-end development are advantageous.We can offer you:
