Growing master-distributor/importer of steel tubing is seeking a Chief Operating Officer in our corporate office in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree required, experience a plus.
Excellent with mathematics.
Effective communication skills, organized, ambitious, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities Will be mentored by the CEO until his retirement in 2025. Candidate will learn product and warehouse operations; and become an expert in all phases of international shipping.
Negotiate pricing with suppliers, and more importantly will maintain relationships with foreign suppliers' management.
Will require occasional travel to foreign mills as well as major domestic customers, accompanied by VP of Sales.
Regularly communicate with owners.
Manage a team of two warehouse employees, two salespeople, and an office consisting of two inventory/logistics clerks and a Controller.
Candidate is required to work in-office, full time.
