Rizing, Consumer Industries is actively recruiting for an S/4 CAR OPP Expert and Lead for an exciting opportunity.
It is a long-term contract position and will require three days per week on-site in Cranbury, New Jersey.

Travel will be a requirement and will be expensed.
As the SAP S/4 CAR OPP Project Lead, you will be responsible for managing the changes needed to transition the SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR) Opportunity Management (OPP) application from ECC to SAP S/4HANA, aligning with SAP recommendations and best practices.
You will collaborate with a team of experts to ensure a smooth and successful migration, leveraging APIs or alternative technologies to enable seamless integration between systems.
You must be able to be at client site a minimum of 3 full workdays.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Develop, maintain, and execute a comprehensive work plan to migrate the SAP CAR OPP application from ECC to SAP S/4HANA, following SAP's recommended migration approach.
2.
Lead a team of functional and technical experts to analyze existing processes, data structures, and configurations to identify changes required for the migration.
3.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and define the target state for the SAP S/4HANA environment.
4.
Evaluate and recommend the use of APIs or alternative technologies to facilitate data integration and communication between SAP CAR OPP and SAP S/4HANA.
5.
Work closely with Global team to design, build, and test custom APIs or integration solutions to enable data transfer and synchronization between systems.
6.
Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and reconciliation processes during the migration with partnership with the Data Team.
7.
Conduct user acceptance testing, UAT, Business Simulations to ensure comprehensive understanding of the new processes especially for end users.
8.
Provide post-go-live support and address any issues or enhancements related to the SAP S/4 CAR OPP application.
Requirements:
1.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Master's degree is a plus.
2.
Proven experience (10 years) in SAP projects, with a focus on SAP CAR and SAP S/4HANA.
3.
Strong understanding of SAP CAR OPP functionality, data model, and integration points with SAP S/4HANA.
4.
Experience in designing and implementing APIs for data integration in SAP environments.
5.
Knowledge of alternative integration technologies and methods to connect SAP systems.
6.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and communicate effectively both written and verbal communication
7.
SAP certification in SAP CAR or SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
8.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, must be fluent in English, understanding French is a plus.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
Expectations:

Drive the migration project with a focus on adherence to SAP recommendations and best practices.
Provide observations and recommendations in a documented format with consideration and/or impacts highlighted.
2.
Collaborate effectively with local team, global team, technical teams, business users, and vendors to ensure successful integration.
3.
Stay updated on SAP CAR OPP and S/4HANA advancements, new features, and integration capabilities.
4.
Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies related to the migration project.
5.
Document project progress, decisions, and outcomes for knowledge sharing and future reference.
6.
Mentor and coach team members to build expertise in SAP CAR OPP and S/4HANA integration.
7.
Be on camera for meetings via MS Teams.
8.
Be on client site at least 3 full working days per week.
9.
Develop and maintain a workplan for all activities.
10.
Global scale experience is mandatory.
11.
Experience of working alongside implementers or other consulting firms
12.
Act as a sparring partner and provide strategic advice
13.
Support local and regional teams to take ownership of new solutions
14.
Adapt to retail environment, culture, and organization
