Position Summary

Assists the Facility Operations Department in all activities related to maintaining and operating MetLife Stadium. Oversight and execution of preventative maintenance plan and demand/response maintenance activities. Responsible for upkeep of CMMS, department physical and digital records and SDS. (CMMS=Computerized Maintenance Management System; SDS= Safety Data Sheet). Supervisory responsibilities include Facility Operations Associates.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for helping to keep the Stadium well maintained, to the highest possible standards while providing our guests with the best possible entertainment experience.
• Responsible for providing high level of customer service to both NFL teams, maintaining absolute neutrality on all team issues and protecting confidentiality of each teams' information.
• Communicates effectively (orally and in writing) with management, ownership, and other stakeholders.
• Works within the Facility Operations Department completing all tasks necessary to maintain the facility at the highest-level day to day and for all events including event preparation tasks, event management duties for all major events and snow removal operations when necessary.
• Maintenance Planning & CMMS
  • Oversees accuracy of CMMS; ensures data consistency and reliability.
  • Implements, maintains and recommends improvements to an organized work order system: demand, preventive & predictive work orders. Work order creation, time-tracking, updating, close-out, etc.
  • Administers web based and digital work order initiatives.
  • Educates staff in the proper and continued use of the CMMS system, emphasizing consistency and accuracy.
  • Tracks and manages departmental service agreements and contracts: costs, terms (start/end dates), milestone dates (notification), contract deliverables, etc.
  • Scheduling and coordination of contracted maintenance activities and deliverables.
  • Tracks and manages service provider certificates of insurance.
  • Implements and maintains an organized purchasing and inventory management system including purchase order to invoice reconciliation.
  • Maintains an organized reconciliation of all departmental credit card purchases.
  • Maintains and updates the asset tracking system.
  • Creates routine maintenance reports to identify trends and improve efficiency.
  • Maintains stadium key tracking program.
  • Maintains safety training records and assists in administering required courses, online & in-person. Assists Facility Operations staff with other mandatory trainings.
  • Onboarding, training and oversight of Facility Operations Associates.
  • Oversees post-season walkthrough of stadium concession(s) and retail space(s) with third party contractor. Issues and coordinates subsequent maintenance tasks.
• SDS Management
  • Manages department SDS documentation, ensuring that NMSC is always compliant.
  • Coordinates SDS activities with and ensures that all service providers (lessees) are compliant.
  • Identifies hazardous materials used and inventoried on the stadium site; ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local jurisdictional codes.
• Records Archive Management
  • Maintains Facility Operations plan room in the most organized and efficient manner possible. Works in conjunction with Sr. Facility Ops Coordinator, Projects to allocate adequate space for maintenance and project records.
  • Manages departmental records including but not limited to work orders, safety trainings, inspection logs, purchase orders, invoices, warranties, O&M manuals, permits, registrations, etc.
  • Completes weekly payroll for Facilities Associates and MEP Union Trades Staff (HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical). Assists with additional payroll processing for other department trades and personnel as needed.
• Event Management
  • Assists Facility Operations Department in all tasks related to event preparation to ensure building is in a safe, clean, and presentable condition for all events.
  • Utilizes Microsoft Teams to organize event-related information, documentation, and to-do lists.
  • Liaises with Special Events department in determining event needs from the Engineering department, including but not limited to HVAC, Electrical & Plumbing.
  • Lead representative for Facility Operations department in Command Center during all major events, logging and responding to incoming maintenance requests and dispatching appropriate personnel.
  • Ensures timely updating and reporting on event related requests both during and after each event.
  • Participates in departmental snow removal preparation and planning activities; works on site during snow removal operations assisting in the management of third-party labor, inspecting stadium locations, and removing snow and ice as directed.

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, but not required
• Valid driver's license
• Minimum 2-4 years related experience in Facility Management & Maintenance Planning
• Minimum 1-2 years related experience with the implementation, setup, and continued operations of a CMMS or Incident Management System preferred
• Experience reading and understanding blueprints; experience in the operation of Computer Aided Design Software preferred
• Experience in the operation of a CMMS or Incident Management System, preferably with one of the following programs; Aware Manager, MicroMain, Maximo or 24/7 Software.
• Familiarity with the development and continued operation of inventory systems and database systems
• Strong communication, computer and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project a plus
• Must be detail oriented
• Be customer-service oriented, have a fan-friendly attitude and a professional appearance at all times

• Position requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms
• Position requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision

• Employee will be required to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays due to the unique Stadium schedule.
• Employee at times may be required to respond to off-hours emergency calls.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however, during events the noise level may be loud.
