KEY OBJECTIVE(S)

The main purpose of the Events Host is:

+ To support the events team on event-related requests, assist with essential tasks for team members and will be responsible for administrative tasks and troubleshooting prior to, and during events when necessary.

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Serves as support to the event team both in pre-planning and onsite at events.

+ Supports the team with planning and execution on event days.

+ Builds and supports uploading events.

+ Responsible for department's inventory of supplies and promotional items.

+ Coordinates collection, and organization of event materials for individual events.

+ Monitoring and updating event websites and event calendar.

+ Maintain a working knowledge of needs on days of events.

+ Helps to uphold company brand standards and guidelines when working on projects.

+ Other duties may be assigned .

Desired Qualifications:

+ Represent American Dream, Nickelodeon Universe, DreamWorks Water Park & Angry Birds with highest degree of professionalism.

+ Excellent written skills including experience writing marketing or public relations text

+ Strong interpersonal skills including experience building and maintaining relationships with a diverse network of individuals and organizations

+ Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multi-task

+ Time management skills and ability to prioritize a large volume of tasks

+ Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn

+ Great customer services skills

Physical Job Requirements:

+ Sit frequently 80%

+ Perform repetitive motion, as with a keyboard frequently, 80%

+ Stand/move about periodically, 20%

+ Kneel/bend periodically, 10%

+ Reach at or above shoulder level periodically, 10%

+ Reach at or below shoulder level periodically, 10%
