Schedules tests as necessary and files results after review by appropriate personnel.Answers phone and patient call bells and refer to appropriate personnel.Communicates with other departments regarding patient needs and movement.Other duties as assigned.Follow established policies and procedures.
Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors.
Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management, and physicians.

This position requires cross-training to unit clerk role.Duties include:
Observes and reports to the RN for all significant changes in patient's condition Assists patients with activities of daily living (e.g.
preparing patient for and assisting with meals, bathing)Takes and records vital signs, height and weights, measures and records fluid intake and output, collects specimensAssist with transport of patients within the hospital One-on-one observation with required documentation.
Close observation monitoringDemonstrates proficient computer skills Ability to follow through with physician orders Utilizes internal paging system and patient call systemOther duties as assigned Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent.American Heart Association, (AHA) CPR (Basic Life Support) Certification required.Previous Patient Care Technician or Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
