What you'll be doing.

Verizon Business Group is seeking an experienced and driven Sr Manager of Product Management to lead the product strategy, commercialization, and lifecycle management of our Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) network slicing solutions. This role will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and market leadership within the rapidly evolving FWA landscape. This individual will define the business requirements for new features and enhancements, will support product plans while helping a wide range of cross-functional teams understand the product positioning,key benefits and target customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Commercialization:

• Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for FWA network slicing solutions, aligning with Verizon Business Group's overall objectives.

• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities and develop winning product propositions.

• Own the FWA network slicing P&L, including revenue forecasting, pricing strategy, and cost optimization.

• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including sales enablement materials, marketing campaigns, and launch plans.

Product Management & Lifecycle Management:

• Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories for new features and enhancements.

• Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing optimization.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, marketing, sales, and legal, to ensure successful product delivery and adoption.

• Monitor product performance, gather customer feedback, and identify areas for improvement and innovation.

Business Case Development & Financial Management:

• Develop compelling business cases for new product initiatives, including market opportunity assessment, revenue projections, and ROI analysis.

• Manage the product budget and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure financial targets are met.

• Identify and evaluate potential partnerships and strategic alliances to accelerate product growth and market penetration.

* Product Trial Facilitation & Customer Engagement:*

• Design and oversee alpha and beta pilot programs to gather valuable customer feedback and refine product offerings.

• Engage with key customers and industry stakeholders to understand their evolving needs and identify emerging trends.

• Act as a subject matter expert and evangelist for FWA network slicing solutions, representing Verizon at industry events and conferences.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

• Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring their professional growth and development.

• Foster strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.

Thought Leadership & Industry Expertise:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape within the FWA and network slicing domains.

• Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including white papers, blog posts, and speaking engagements, to position Verizon as a market leader.

• Identify and evaluate potential partnerships and strategic alliances to enhance product offerings and expand market reach.

What we're looking for.

You bring both a business perspective and an understanding of the marketplace-and not just theory and numbers. You have a knack for bundling offerings, pricing, understanding and presenting information that is consumable for various audiences. You are a team player who can work cross-functionally, and motivate individuals inter/intra organization while meeting business objectives.

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's Degree or four or more years of work experience.

• Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

• Experience in telecommunications, wireless or networking technologies (e. g. , 5G, FWA, SD-WAN) or device OEM background.

• Experience launching successful enterprise-grade products.

• Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

Even better if you have the following:

• A Master's Degree.

• Experience with FWA & FiOS products, services and related customer journeys.

• Deep data and analytic orientation for evidence-based decision making.

• Knowledge of evolving technologies like network slicing, and edge computing.

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication, presentation (prep & delivery), and business-facing skills.

Where you'll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
