Job Details
CT Tech position at St Josephs Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
Weekly Orientations on Mondays, except for holiday weeks.
Level I experience required; previous travel experience for ED, Neuro ICU is necessary.
CERNER EMR experience required for ED.
Travelers must have their own vehicles; parking is assigned to a lot with shuttle service to the facility.
Job Requirements
2 years of CORE experience required in specialty being submitted to.
Level 1 Trauma and Teaching experience required.
Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48 hours prior to acceptance of a position; maximum attempts is 2.
Schedule Information
Facility will not consider any contract shorter than 13 weeks.
Weekend requirement may vary depending on schedule; not every weekend.
Unit Specific Information
Common cases include Routine CT Exams, CTA with perfusion, and trauma cases.
Floor specific orientation of at least 1 week with 1/1 orientation.
Additional Details
ARRT, BLS required; inpatient/ER will always work with another CT technologist.
GE scanner and Philips ICT experience required.
Unit size: CT Scan department with 5 procedure rooms (2 in ER, 3 in main Radiology department).
Charge Nurse: CT supervisor.
Fasted pace environment with other CT techs in the same work area for assistance.
