Job Summary and Qualifications

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care before, during, and after procedures. This care includes physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments and incorporate appropriate intervention skills in every interaction.
Document care accurately and timely using computerized charting.
Organize and prioritize tasks effectively for multiple patient assignments.
Utilize triage skills according to established standards and reassess patient responses to medications and treatments.
Create responsive care plans based on the emergent needs of patients and families.
Provide clear health education and overcome barriers to learning.
Collect and perform testing as per established procedures.
Maintain quality control and troubleshoot instruments as required.

Qualifications Needed:

Associate Degree in Nursing (RN); BSN preferred.
Active RN license in New Hampshire or Compact License.
BLS certification required, ACLS certification within 6 months of hiring.
At least 2 years of RN experience in a Cath Lab and Interventional setting preferred.
