Patient Service Representative (Full-Time Days) - Lakeview Internal MedicineWho You Are:

Process daily charge tickets for incoming patients and manage provider daily schedules.Verify patient information, including current address, insurance status, and emergency contact.Obtain patient signatures on registration forms and yearly renewals.Input patient demographic and insurance data accurately into the system.Address patient complaints and resolve issues effectively, escalating when necessary.Handle incoming phone calls, take messages, and ensure accurate documentation in patient charts.Scan, sort, and file documents into patient charts, following proper guidelines.Schedule referrals and specialist appointments, ensuring proper documentation.Assist with patient discharges, collecting payments, and processing charges at the time of service.Manage incoming and outgoing mail, scan relevant reports into EMR.Qualifications What You'll Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two to three years' experience in health care setting performing similar work activities including, but not limited to clerical, billing or insurance processing.
