Job Title: Equipment Operator
Location: Dover, NH
The Mail Insert Operator will be responsible for operating high-speed inserters to process and insert various materials into envelopes or mailers with a focus on quality and efficiency. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to meet established productivity and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate high-speed inserters to assemble and insert materials into mailers.
Set up and adjust equipment for various materials and sizes.
Monitor equipment to ensure smooth operations and prevent jams.
Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning to keep equipment performing optimally.
Collaborate with the production team to meet daily production targets.
Verify the accuracy and quality of the materials being inserted.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or technical issues as needed.
Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience operating high-speed inserters or similar equipment is preferred.
Ability to interpret job orders and production schedules.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills for equipment troubleshooting.
Effective time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods.
Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
