The Role

We are seeking a Lead Product Marketing Manager to drive the creation and delivery of unique market positioning and sales enablement materials to support Lumen's Cloudify Telecom and Lumen Digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and can easily take a customer-focused lens on how Lumen's network and solutions will meet customer challenges through Cloudifying Telecom. An ideal candidate would have a passion for storytelling, an ability to simplify complex concepts, and can easily collaborate with multiple resources to identify and develop valuable messaging that will drive engaging content. The Lead Product Marketing Manager is expected to be a content marketing expert across our large enterprise and mid-market segments with the ability to craft solution messaging, content, and sales enablement pieces to support the Lumen Digital portfolio. This includes, but is not limited to, message maps, datasheets customer pitch decks, battlecards, blog posts, and thought leadership assets.

This is a highly collaborative role working with cross-functional teams across the organization that brings together Product, Sales, Commercial Enablement, Creative and Brand, Corporate Communications, Analyst Relations and the Campaign teams together to plan, build, launch, and optimize go-to-market in a consistent and coordinated manner. The Lead Product Marketing Manager works independently and therefore must be self-motivated. The incumbent will work with minimum supervision and is expected to meet and exceed goals.

The Main Responsibilities

• Builds go-to-market strategies aligned with goals aligned to product portfolio and sales team to drive profitable revenues.

• Translates highly technical information into succinct customer outcome messaging to develop value propositions, differentiators, messaging, proof points, and claims

• Develops sales enablement materials to ensure sales understanding at various technical levels.

• Creates content for external marketing activation, such as eBooks, whitepapers, research reports, content for customer roundtables, that generates marketing qualified leads.

• Composes content and manages the building of external marketing assets including brochures, case studies, customer presentations, newsletters, website, blogs, and other social media.

• Partners with various marketing teams to drive the messaging in premium content such as infographics, white-board videos, webinars and other lead-gen campaign activities.

What We Look For in a Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or marketing.

• Experience in a solutions or product marketing, sales enablement, product management or related role in the Technology field/market.

• A deep understanding of networking and digital infrastructure solutions and the competitive space within them.

• Advanced communication and listening skills to interact with and work with a wide range of people and functions within the marketing disciplines including database, IT, product, channel, advertising and analyst relations.

• Direct B2B marketing experience with solid knowledge of marketing tactics.

• Strong writing and strategic thinking skills.

• A great attitude - willingness to learn new skills, take initiative, and collaborate across teams.

• Aptitude to quickly come up to speed on new technology concepts. Passion to evangelize disruptive new technologies.

• Ability to react to frequent changes in duties and volume of work.

• Comfortable accepting responsibility for medium to large scale projects involving multiple resources and spanning many months from start to finish.

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities.

• The ability to write compelling marketing copy targeting identified business personas is a plus for the candidate seeking this position.

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

$82,969 - $110,625 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY

$87,117 - $116,156 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$91,266 - $121,688 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
