Advertisement Text: Position Purpose:
Provides safe operation of grooming machines to ensure the highest quality snow surface possible for guests of the Dartmouth Skiway.

Required Qualifications:

Basic knowledge/understanding of large machinery
Good communications skills and patience
Ability to create quality snow and snow surface
Ability to operate a groomer
Must be able to work independently
Must hold a valid driver's license and be qualified under the terms of the Dartmouth College Driver Safety and Motor Vehicle Policy.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working outdoors
High school graduate or equivalent

Key Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities:

Operates groomer to ensure highest quality of groomed snow surfaces.
Maintains quality control of snow surfaces to ensure guest satisfaction.
Inspects and monitors equipment, promptly reporting any issues.
Accurately completes paperwork involving daily logs and maintenance reports.
Assists snowmaking teams in transportation, surface maintenance and other duties as needed.
Assists in maintenance duties related to snowmaking and mountain operations systems including but not limited to parking lots, timbering operations, and building maintenance.
Assists mountain operations with snow and ice mitigation including shoveling, sanding.
Follows all policies and procedures of the Dartmouth Skiway.
