Experience: Five years of clinical experience preferred; however, new graduates will be considered.

License: Graduate from an approved/accredited Program in Respiratory Care and a current license/registration is required.

Certifications:
• Current ACLS certification or eligible for certification by National Board of Respiratory Care.
• PALS and NRP certification or must be able to obtain within six (6) months of hire.
• CPR certification required.
• Neonatal resuscitation certification preferred.

Must-Have:
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and techniques for respiratory care.
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of applicable physiology and pathology.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Familiarity with computer applications and a willingness to learn software applications.
• Demonstrate judgment capabilities regarding diagnostic and therapeutic modalities.

• The Respiratory Therapist is a valued member of the healthcare team, demonstrating knowledge, skill, and professionalism when interacting with peers and patients.
• Must provide age-appropriate care to a diversified patient population.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hospital policies and procedures and adhere to standards of practice.
• Provides therapeutic and diagnostic cardiopulmonary services under the direction of practitioners and the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Services Clinical Supervisor.
• No on-call schedule as the facility has 24-hour respiratory coverage.
• Provide care in accordance with practitioner prescriptions and hospital policies.
• Offer holistic patient-centered care delivered with compassion and empathy.
• Exhibit integrity, always doing the right thing, and promote a supportive workplace.
• Communicate effectively, listen attentively to understand needs, and deliver with courtesy and clarity.
• Be flexible, accepting change as an opportunity to grow.
• Must show responsibility and initiative to ensure a safe and supportive workplace.
