Job Details Registered Nurse, Cardiovascular Short Stay at Deaconess Gateway Hospital
CANDIDATES MUST BE EXPERIENCED IN PRE/POST CATH LAB/EP PROCEDURES, PACU RECOVERY, CARDIAC SURGERY ADMISSIONS
Patient Population: Admissions/Cardiac procedure recovery, Pre/Post Cath Lab/EP Lab procedures, PACU recovery, cardiac surgery admissions, TAVR/LAAO recoveries.
Job Requirements IN Single State RN License
Minimum Experience: 1 year of experience in specialty
NO NEW TRAVELERS - 1 completed travel assignment required
Charting Experience Required: EPIC/CUPID
Required Skillset: Start IV's, radial artery sheath removal, TR bands, arterial line management, manage/titrate cardiac drips, telemetry interpretation, 12-lead EKG.
Schedule Information Contract Length: 12 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 or 48 upon request
Shift: 12hr Days 0630-1900 operational hours of department
Weekends: every other
Holidays: every other
Unit Specific Information Unit Information: 12 beds. Pre/Post procedure Cath Lab, Surgery admissions
Additional Details Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required - Subject to change
Float Requirements: float to other cardiac units and may float between Midtown, Gateway, and Heart Hospital, but cross campus mid-shifting floating is rare.
On Call/Call Back Requirements: N/A
