Responsibilities

Sentinel is seeking a Senior Network and Security Engineer for our deployment team. This individual will be a full time employee of Sentinel Technologies and will get to work with various network and security focused technologies to design, implement and configure secure network solutions for mid to enterprise-level client environments. In additional to a strong technical background, structured & organized approach, this role requires excellent communication skills.

This is a full-time position located in Tempe, Arizona with travel throughout the state of Arizona.

Qualifications

8+

years of experience working with Cisco, Palo Alto, and/or Fortinet solutions

Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches is required

3+ years of experience designing and implementing large scale network security solutions

CCNP Certification or equivalent manufacture certification or higher is preferred

Experience with Cisco Security products such as FDT, FMC, AMP, Umbrella

Experience in performing migrations and upgrades on various platforms is a plus

Familiar implementing wireless networks with Cisco wireless LAN controllers using both traditional centralized deployments as well as converged access is a plus

Cisco ACI and SD WAN experience is a plus

Exceptional customer relations skills is required

The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment

A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required

Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Must demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude
