Role: Network Engineer
Location: Santa Clara, CA(Onsite)
Responsibilities:
Knowledge of troubleshooting, implementing, optimizing and testing of dynamic routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, BGP and ability to interpret and resolve route table problem.
Knowledge of EVPN & VXLAN is preferred.
Network Security, with primary skills on Palo Alto and Cisco Firewalls.
Firewall devices optimization such as rules consolidation/fine-tuning & periodic firewall rule base review
Design and implement WLANs and other wireless networks using Cisco and Juniper MIST
Hands on experience to work in an ITIL structured organisation dealing with Incident / Change / Problem management
Basic knowledge of the tools like Wire-shark, Kentik, Prometheus or similar monitoring tools.
Knowledge on Linux OS will be an added advantage.
Experience with Saltstack/Python automation is a plus.
