Net Developer remote

Overview
Knowledge Services is seeking a remote .Net Developer for a multi-year contract in support of the State of Indiana.

Applicants based in Indiana will be given priority - able to work 100% from home

Applicants must be able to attend and travel to Florida for an initial one-week of training and orientation (expenses are covered)

Responsibilities
• Net Developer Responsibilities:

• Performs work independently under minimal supervision• Maintain web applications• Design and build applications using Microsoft .NET Technologies• Migrate internally developed applications to latest Microsoft .NET Technologies• Troubleshoot and debug development and production issues• Perform tests to find system/software defects• Follow design specs• Applying best practices• Read specifications and design software solutions• Mentoring• Create design specs• Interface with subject matter experts to gather requirements

Qualifications
• Net Developer Experience:

• Minimum of 7-10 years of ASP.Net programming

• Proven, real world work experience in Microsoft Software Environment: MS SQL Server, .NET Framework, Visual Studio

• Experience with migrating legacy applications to .NET Platform• Experience writing and debugging ASP.NET Web Form applications• Experience using Team Foundation Server• Experience with JavaScript, JavaScript libraries: JQuery, Bootstrap, Mustache, AngularJS is a plus• Experience with WCF/REST Services, Web API, and Mobile development is a plus

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems is a plus• MCSD / MCPD Certifications is a plus

Required Technical Experience: • MS SQL• ASP.NET • Team Foundation Server• JQuery• Bootstrap• .NET Framework• Agile

Preferred Technical Experience: • Web API• AngularJS or Angular 2• WCF Service
