JOB DESCRIPTIONWe Build with Passion- Clean Harbors Kimball, NE NEW Incineration unit is seeking an Facility Technician- Special Operations will be responsible for performing industrial labor and other physically demanding work outdoors, under potentially adverse conditions, as well as within the facility/plant work environment. This opportunity requires ability to drive manual transmission and move heavy equipment onsite (No CDL required). This is a great opportunity for college students or recent high school grads wanting to gain some work experience.NEW wage, $26.50 Hourly Pay, 4- 12 hour rotating (days/nights) shifts per week (6a-6p/6p-6a). Must be willing to work nights. We are searching for a safety-oriented and reliable individual to join our team in Kimball, NE.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
Operates industrial equipment, included but not limited to forklift
Performs general labor throughout the facility to preparing materials for the incineration process
Ensures the safety of him or herself as well as those around them
Performs manual tasks such as cleaning up spills when necessary while taking all safety precautions necessary to prevent injury
Follows all standard operating procedures
Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent
NEW! Willing to train on forklift operation
Ability to work in team environment
DOT Training
Proficiency in Windows based applications
Climb on and off forklifts
Ability to perform multiple tasks
Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground to your waste
Climb up and down vertical ladders
Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force
20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical
10 pushups, deep knee squats and sit-ups (to determine if fit)
Good hand/eye coordination
Valid Driver's License required
Punctuality and attendance required
Respirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay!)
Background check, drug screen and physical- required
MUST BE WILLING TO WORK ROTATING SHIFTS DAYS/NIGHTS- NO EXCEPTION
