About The Role

PetSource is seeking a seasoned Senior HR Generalist with bilingual proficiency to support our plant operations. The successful candidate will serve as a key HR partner, overseeing all aspects of human resources within the plant, including employee relations, talent acquisition, compliance, and training. This role requires a strong understanding of HR practices in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations:

Serve as the primary HR contact for plant employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
Foster a positive workplace culture, promoting engagement and collaboration.

Talent Acquisition and Management:

Lead the recruitment and selection process for plant positions, ensuring a diverse and qualified candidate pool.
Conduct onboarding for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
Partner with plant leadership to identify staffing needs and develop workforce plans.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies.
Manage HR records and documentation, including employee files, attendance, and performance management.
Conduct investigations as necessary, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.

Training and Development:

Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for plant employees.
Support leadership development initiatives within the plant.
Ensure bilingual training materials are available and accessible to all employees.

HR Metrics and Reporting:

Track and report key HR metrics, such as turnover, absenteeism, and employee satisfaction.
Use data to identify trends and recommend improvements to HR practices.

HR Projects:

Participate in and lead HR projects that support the overall goals of the plant and the company.
Collaborate with corporate HR on company-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field highly desired. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing or plant environment desired.
Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
