To serve this mission, you will be delivering quality nursing care while utilizing critical thinking skills according to nursing best practice standards. The Critical Care RN delegates care appropriately according to nursing practice standards.
As an RWHS Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will:
• Work with a 1:2 ICU ratio or a 1:4 PCU ratio
• ssist with cardiac arrests, stroke care, traumas, respiratory distress and higher level of care patients
• Maintain calm under pressure with excellent problem solving and multitasking skills
• ppropriately assess patients progress and provides updates to the provider, patient and families
• dapt positively to fluctuating workload to maximize patient care and unit effectiveness.
You may be a good fit if you have:
• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• compact or State of Nebraska Registered Nurse License
• merican Heart Association's BLS certification upon hire
