Job Details Facility in Eastern Nebraska is looking for several traveling Med-Surg nurses. The hospital is looking for both day and night shift coverage.
The shift will be twelve hours, 13-26 Week Contacts, 36-48 hour guarantee's.

MedSurg/Tele- joint replacements, fractures, colon resections, COPD exacerbation, prostatectomy, cellulitis, sepsis, ortho trauma, GI bleeds, pneumonia, failure to thrive
Are RN's required to titrate drips?:
Heparin, lidocaine, and ketamine
Common titratable &/or set rate drips:
PCA pumps
Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?:

Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?:

Floating Requirements:
Yes to other medical surgical areas or units with MedSurg patients waiting for a MedSurg bed
Schedule Information Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?):
0630-1900, 1830-0700 / Travelers will be scheduled. Will approve a limited amount of block scheduling

50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
