Overview Orthopaedic Hand & Wrist Surgery - Creighton University - CHI Health The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at The Creighton University School of Medicine, in partnership with CHI Health and Creighton University Medical Center seeks an academic orthopaedic surgeon specializing in Hand & Wrist surgery to join our expanding clinic practice in Omaha, NE.
The busy Orthopaedic surgeon will join a division of Hand & Wrist surgery with four (4) current physicians, committed to highest quality outcomes.
In collaboration with Creighton University School of Medicine, the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery will establish a residency program, led by our Department Chair, Dr.
Ranjan Gupta, in conjunction with a newly created Orthopaedic Center of excellence at CHI Health.
As a busy academic institution, Creighton University Medical Center - CHI Health boasts a number of additional opportunities including the opportunity to conduct research in collaboration with scientists within Common Spirit and Creighton University School of Medicine The Hand & Wrist Division is a busy part of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery integrating medical students and undergraduates in a rich teaching environment.
The ideal candidate will be board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery with clinical focus on hand and wrist pathology with training in fracture repair, soft tissue management, nerve repair and wrist arthroscopy.
In addition, the candidate should have a strong academic interest with a desire to educate and participate in research.

Jeff Wooten, Physician Recruiter - Responsibilities Patient Care:
Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Provide clear and concise medical information.

Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Diagnostic Procedures:

Qualifications American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible Pay Range$328.85 - $364.42 /hour
