POSITION: Head Cook; 7.5 hours per dayDEPARTMENT: Nutrition Services LOCATION: Westside Nutrition Services Contract Meal Kitchen and WarehouseJob Summary
This position works with the Kitchen Manager and Contract Meal Manager to prepare, organize and deliver all meals to Westside Nutrition Services's contracted sites as well as large scale production for both contracts and Westside Community Schools. Position is involved with oversight of all hot food production for daily and weekly needs, based on district and contract schedules and menus. Must be able to adjust production up and down according to daily ordering and updates. Must have an ability to maintain professionalism at all times. Must follow prescribed recipes in order to maintain consistent expectations and deliver meals and components in compliance with all USDA programs, specifically the National School Lunch Plan (NSLP), School Breakfast Plan (SBP) and all Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
