General Manager - Novotel Brisbane South Bank Company Description
Novotel Brisbane South Bank is an award-winning hotel located in the heart of Brisbane's cultural precinct, adjacent to South Bank Parklands and Musgrave Park. Novotel Brisbane South Bank is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of this award-winning hotel, while serving as a brand ambassador for Novotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for hospitality, exceptional operational expertise, and solid commercial and financial acumen.
Responsibilities:
Leading, inspiring and mentoring a driven team of Heartists to enable their individual growth and help drive the overall success of the business
Developing and implementing strategic plans to drive revenue, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall guest journey experience
Supporting all departments in the achievement of operational targets
Overseeing sales and marketing to maximise occupancy and revenue
Championing employee engagement, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment for all our Heartists
Qualifications:
A qualification in hotel management, hospitality management, commerce or business administration would be highly regarded.
About You:
Over 5 years of senior leadership experience in hotels, with a strong focus on operations and achieving commercial success
Proven business and financial acumen, including revenue management and budgeting, with a track record of driving profitability in Rooms and F&B outlets
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated experience in coaching and inspiring teams
Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit, personal integrity, and commitment to Accor values and culture
A passion for Food and Beverage with a proven track record of delivering experiences
