Hours: FULL TIME; 7:30 a. m. - 4:00 p. m. Monday through Friday. This position could require working overtime including working the same hours as the contractor which could include some weekends and holidays.

This is advanced-level technical work in connection with the Lancaster County Engineering Department.

Perform various types of work on construction projects, including surveys, Project record keeping, and inspection of construction. Ensuring that the projects are built according to the plans and specifications; safely and properly operate various types of surveying instruments, tools, and testing equipment (up to 80 lbs. ).

Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent and at least 6 months experience performing drafting, surveying, and/or engineering work, or equivalent.

Necessary Special Requirement: Possession of valid driver's license when operating a vehicle in the performance of assigned duties.
