TRAVEL Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN - Med Surg)
Location: Central City, NE
Position Overview:
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Surgical Nurse with Medical-Surgical expertise to join our team for a contract assignment in Central City, NE. Job Details :
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: January 6, 2025
Shift: Night shift, 36 hours per week
12 hours shifts, working every 3rd weekend, no call
Pay Rate: Competitive pay of $2250 per week, with weekly pay, $1004 tax and $1246 stipend
Job Requirements:
Experience: Two years of experience
Certification: BLS, ACLS, TNCC required
Licensure: Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Nebraska required or approved compact state of residence
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) Epic-Pyxis-BD Alaris pumps
Additional Requirements: compliance with current facility health standards
Job Responsibilities:
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of personnel and medical staff.
Ability to problem solve and engage independent critical thinking skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality relevant to sensitive information.
Ability to adhere to hospital and department procedures.
Ability to prioritize work demands and work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment relevant to changing patient needs
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) 4:1
