Reports To: Rathole Field Supervisor and Rathole Operations Supervisor
Scope of Work
Operate drilling equipment and serves as lead at the Customer job site by performing and following Customer and rig technical specifications.
Duties & Responsibilities: These are not listed in relation to their priority or importance.
•Fully understands rigging and the safe operation of rigging equipment
•Reviews Customer rig technical specification
•Adheres to all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and ensure crew also follows proper related procedures
•Provides necessary leadership in all aspects of the job; plans ahead, communicates effectively, trains crew, maintains accurate records (both written and mathematical)
•Facilitates safety meetings and JSA pre job meetings
•Performs rig relocation and follows established procedures
•Wears required personal protective equipment
•Other duties as assigned by Operations Supervisor
For current applicants who hold a Commercial Driver's License:
•Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from Dispatcher/Supervisor
•Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities.
•Drives truck to destination.
•Prepares receipts/paperwork for load picked up.
•Collects appropriate paperwork and/or signatures for goods delivered and for delivery charges.
•Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
•Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor and/or dispatcher to receive delivery instructions.
•Loads and unloads truck.
•Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
•Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs.
•Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
•Operates company vehicles with capacity of up to 105,500 pounds to move materials, tools, and equipment to and from work locations in support of construction and maintenance activities and/or deliver operating materials and supplies from one location to another.
•Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment, and assists during the operation of equipment at job site.
•Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, long workdays, and/or irregular work hours, be on-call with short notice and exposed to extreme weather conditions.
