Logistics Coordinator

Overview:

Responsible for assisting the site teams with daily tasks related to receiving materials and maintaining accurate inventory of major material items on sites. The Logistics Coordinator receives necessary documents from the on-site Logistics personnel and is responsible for entering information into SiteSense or VPOne as required. This position will take direction from the Logistics Managers for the sites they support.

Location: This is an office based position in Fargo, ND.

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for ensuring all material packing slips are accurate

• Responsible for coordinating with Logistics on inventory control and storage of items received into inventory through SiteSense

• Provide daily report to onsite management of material deliveries

• Coordinate with Logistics to maintain major material tracking check out log

• Responsible for completing necessary receiving paperwork for accounting use including; upload packing slips into VPOne (or Procore depending on order type) to receive in materials in real time

• Partner with Logistics and Quality to record any issues with overages, shortages and/or damages (OS&D)

• Communicate any issues with OS&D to site leadership and the Procurement Expediting team

• Coordinate with Expeditor to ensure management team has delivery dates

• Upload all supporting documentation, POIRs, and updated inventory sheets into Procore daily

• Responsible for ensuring all materials are stored properly according to vendor requirements

• Create and maintain onsite subcontractor contact list

• Travel may be required to support as a Material Receiver on non-union sites as needed

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• One year of construction and/or logistics experience

• Previous SOX experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

•Take reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the Company's Zero Injury principles

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and internet

• Effectively present information and respond to questions from project managers, superintendents, clients, vendors, and customers

• Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in standardized situations

• Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Highly motivated and proactive with ability to take initiative and work independently
