House Charge Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity

Join the expanding team in our new state of the art 132 bed behavioral health facility!

This full-time opportunity offers 40 hours per week and a convenient repeating two week schedule. Every other weekend required.

Prairie St. John's has been providing services for children, adolescents, and adults to address behavioral health and substance use challenges since 1997. Prairie offers inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, and intensive outpatient services. Accredited by The Joint Commission, we are the largest, freestanding behavioral health facility in the region. More than 4,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Prairie St. John's.

Our House Charge RN's continually float in the building monitoring units and hospital floors. They serve as a resource to other staff and treatment team members while effectively monitoring and assuring proper and adequate staffing during shift by referring to unit acuity. This House Charge RN opportunity would also allow you to assess, plan, intervene, teach, discharge and document on patients and families appropriately based on diagnostic, cultural and developmental issues. We are looking for someone who is able to be a role model and teach staff to provide the same continuum of care.

Shift hours:

Weekdays (M-T) : 12:00am-8:30am

Weekend Days:
• Friday: 12:00am-8:30am
• Saturday: 11:00pm-11:00am
• Sunday: 11:00pm-8:30am

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:
Current license to practice nursing in North Dakota (or eligible to receive or renew).
