Highlights of your role:

Innovative Project Work:
Lead and participate in projects focused on improving facility operations, including the design and implementation of new systems and processes.
Facility Equipment Management:
Monitor and optimize facility equipment to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and accurate maintenance, particularly in chemical storage, tanks, oxidizers, and generators.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety standards, including OSHA, fire department, and insurance requirements, with a focus on environmental regulations.
Regulatory Coordination:
Liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and manage changes related to new chemicals or processes using the MAR and MOC processes.
EHS Inspections and Audits:
Conduct and document required inspections and audits, ensuring timely follow-up on any findings.
Emergency and Waste Management:
Coordinate all aspects of waste stream management, including hazardous waste pickups and inspections, and manage risks related to emergencies like floods, fires, and security.

Environmental Experience:
Practical experience in environmental compliance, and safety, including knowledge of regulatory requirements and implementation of related procedures

Also want to make sure you have:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required:
preferably in Chemical Engineering. Candidates with degrees in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering will also be considered
