*Job Title:* Physical Therapist - 13 Week Contract

Big Stone Staffing travelers have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including long term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, inpatient, outpatient, and home health. We offer 13-week travel contracts and provide assistance to find housing, navigating licensure for each state, and being the liaison between you and the facility. • Overview:*Setting*: LTC/SNF, OP, IP, and HH
• Total Pay Package: *Starting at $2000 per week
• Schedule:* Flexible schedule available- No weekends, holidays or call
• Length*: 13 weeks- Extension bonus offered
• Current contracts available:* Mayville
• Other locations throughout North Dakota
• Responsibilities:* Provide supervision for Physical Therapist Assistants and/or Therapy Aides as per state and federal laws and/or regulations
• Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms and review their medical history and referrals from doctors or surgeons
• Diagnose movement dysfunction by listening to patients and observing them as they move about
• Develop an individualized treatment plan
• Coach patients and teach them therapeutic exercises and stretches to improve their condition
• Use hands-on therapy such as massage to ease patients' pain and provide stimulation to promote healing
• Maintain patient records by keeping track of goals and progress while adapting treatment plans accordingly
• Advise patients and their families on in-home treatment options and what to expect from the recovery process
• Qualifications:* Doctorate or master's degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass a background check and pre-work screen physical examination
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
