We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Accounting Manager within our Finance team to help support our Hydraulics business. Our aim of developing and maintaining long-term relationships with our customers means that you can rely on our comprehensive technical expertise and top-quality innovative products. We operate to serve our customers bearing in mind always our slogan: "New thinking with tradition".

So, what will you do as Accounting Manager?

• As an Accounting Manager you will lead accounting activities at an international level (U.S., Germany, UK, China, India)

• Leadership role in accounting processes for the branches on an intrnational level.

• Ensures all and continually improves its Internal Control Environment.

• Ensures that all policy and procedures at different branches adhere to a system of internal controls.

• Leading role in the financial close and reconciliation process, accountable for accuracy, and compliance on a global level.

• Continually improves business processes at a global level.

• Ensure that global statutory reporting and tax authority requirements are met.

• Serves as a primary point of contact with FP&A, Business Analytics and Corporate Accounting, addressing questions and reporting needs.

To Be Successful You'll Need

• Post-secondary degree from an accredited University in Accounting, Finance, Business or related; Professional designation

(CMA, CPA) preferred

• 5+ years of finance and accounting experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 2 years of managerial experience, experience in working on a global level

• Experience in financial close, internal controls, internal and external audit management, ad hoc analysis,

• Management reporting, accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS), taxation (VAT), treasury, working capital, cash flow

management and costing on a global level

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills and leadership abilities, employee development experience
