Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician

Position Details:

• $24.00-$28.50 per hour based on experience
• 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday 11:30pm-7:30am

Position Purpose:

We value the safety of our associates! The Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician keeps our associates safe by repairing, maintaining, and overhauling all company fleet diesel equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and maintenance vehicles
• Perform overhauls and rebuilds of heavy-duty diesel engines and transmissions
• Conduct preventative maintenance and standard inspections/repairs of fleet diesel equipment
• Ensure equipment is roadworthy and complies with regulations
• Thoroughly document work orders and inspections
• Train and provide guidance to other team members

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• 5-7 years of medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in refrigeration and/or overhauls and rebuilds of heavy-duty diesel engines and transmissions
