SUMMARY:
Lead and assist employees in the production of high-quality dairy products by coordinating the daily work assignments and maintaining on the floor presence in order to ensure production goals are met.Continually and consistently enforce GMP and housekeeping policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Actively enforce safety rules and company policies by leading by example.
Plan and organize available resources (employees, materials, time, andequipment) to best meet efficiency, quality, and safety goals.Monitor and adaptplans throughout the shift as needed Effectively communicate and coordinate with all departments.
Actively engage in waste reduction efforts in all areas.
Lead continuous improvement efforts as assigned.
Responsible for maintaining high sanitation standards.
Ensure all required process control and tracking documentation is completed.
Assist in training of new employees in job duties.
Required to cover various positions and shifts in department when needed.
Promote retention and provide a workplace culture that is clean, organized,positive, safe and that supports the mission, vision, guiding principles, and valuesof the organization.
Proven Leadership Qualities Must have written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicateclearly across all departments.
Knowledge of all areas of production procedures.
Excellent organization and creativity skills.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence andmemos.
Ability to write short correspondence and ability to present information to directreports and management.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables insituations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram orschedule form.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units or measure, using wholenumbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to convert units of measurement.
Must be available all shifts; to include nights, weekend and holidays.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) At least 1 year of related experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to bend, stand, sit, walk, and reach.Ability to see and operate a computer as well as manual dexterity to handle paperwork is required.
The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 50 pounds.Must be able to climb stairs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
