Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Neuro Progressive department. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and their families.
About the Role
This full-time position offers a unique blend of clinical expertise and patient-centered care. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Neuro Progressive department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to a culture of excellence and compassion.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
Document patient care and communicate effectively with the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluate learning needs of patients and families and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants should have a current state RN license and a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire.
One year of experience preferred.
ASLS certification preferred.
